Ansley Haulbrook is a Senior Policy Analyst in BGR Group’s Financial Services and Tax Practice Group. In this role, she provides direct support to clients through in-depth policy research, strategic analysis, and issue monitoring across financial services, tax, trade, housing, digital assets, energy, and broader economic policy. She also produces policy briefings, legislative analyses, and political research that help inform advocacy strategies and engagement with policymakers.
Ansley provides firmwide coverage for the Congressional Budget Reconciliation process and supports BGR’s Tariff Working Group, providing timely updates and analysis on major fiscal, tax, spending, trade, and economic policy developments. Ansley works closely with BGR principals to help clients navigate complex policy environments and identify opportunities to advance their policy priorities.
Ansley joined BGR’s Financial Services and Tax team in April 2023 after starting at the firm as a Legislative Clerk in January 2023. Prior to joining BGR, Ansley interned for Del. Madeleine Bordallo (D-GU) and worked on Alison Friedman’s congressional campaign in Virginia’s 10th Congressional District.
Ansley graduated from Sewanee: The University of the South in December 2022 with a B.A. in Politics and concentrations in National Institutions & Policy and Citizenship & Political Action. While at Sewanee, Ansley served as recruitment chair for her sorority, worked as a tour guide ambassador for the admissions office, and was a member of the Order of the Gown academic honors society. She also spent two summers studying at the London School of Economics.
Ansley has lived internationally in Panama, Puerto Rico, Dublin, London, and Guam. She primarily grew up in Saint Simons Island, Georgia, before attending Episcopal High School in Alexandria, Virginia.
