Nicole Werking is a policy analyst for the Defense and Commerce, Infrastructure & Energy practices. As such, she works on a variety of clients’ accounts with senior BGR principals. Additionally, she organizes and executes fly-ins for clients visiting Capitol Hill, drafts and delivers letters and appropriations requests to key Congressional committees, coordinates informational meetings for clients and fundraisers for political candidates, and manages Administration outreach on behalf of clients and firm members.
Nicole started at BGR in 2018 as a research clerk. She was soon promoted to government affairs coordinator and later to her current role. In all three roles, she supported clients and firm executives by writing summaries of congressional hearings, monitoring news media for press clippings, and researching client-specific issues as needed.
Nicole graduated in 2017 from the University of California, Los Angeles, with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Communications. While in school, she was a member of the Pi Beta Phi fraternity and served as the chapter’s Vice President of Membership.
Nicole remains active in her regional alumni network, including serving as Social Media Manager for the UCLA Alumni Chapter of the Greater D.C. Area. A South Florida native, she resides in Washington.
