Chris Simeone is a Director in BGR Government Affairs’ International Practice. In this role, Chris advocates on behalf of sovereign governments and advises clients on issues related to defense, international trade and financial services. Chris also analyzes policies set forth by Congress and the Administration and informs clients in the international and financial services practices on how these policies impact their interests.
Chris joined the firm in 2012, after working for Rhode Island State Senator Dawson Hodgson and for House Armed Services Chairman Howard P. “Buck” McKeon.
Chris earned his MBA at the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith Business School, where he focused on international business. He helped found the State Society of Rhode Island, a nonprofit volunteer organization, and served as its first Chairman from 2013 to 2018. Chris resides in Capitol Hill with his wife, Kara, and their dog, Boris.
