Nicole Watson is a Senior Counsel with BGR Group and a Partner at BGR partner firm, BHA Strategy, based in Nashville, Tennessee. As part of BGR’s Attorneys General Working Group, Nicole brings more than 20 years of government relations and public affairs experience to clients across Tennessee and beyond. Based in Nashville and Chattanooga, she counsels organizations on navigating state and local policy environments.
Before joining BHA Strategy and BGR Group, Nicole spent over a decade in Washington, D.C., navigating issues at all levels of government for companies and trade associations. She most recently served as a Public Policy & Regulatory Partner at Holland & Knight LLP for more than seven years, advising clients through complex legislative and regulatory landscapes.
In her role with BGR Group and BHA Strategy, Nicole helps lead the firm’s multi-state government affairs efforts, helping clients advance priorities across jurisdictions with practical strategy and trusted advocacy.
Nicole assists clients, including major Fortune 500 companies, in their dealings with Governors, Attorneys General and State Legislatures. Recognized as one of Chattanooga’s “20 Under 40,” she is known for results-driven leadership and strategic counsel. Nicole earned her J.D. from Regent University School of Law.
