On Monday, November 23, President-elect Biden announced two more members of the White House senior staff, filling out the senior positions in Legislative Affairs. Brief biographies for each individual are below.
Reema Dodin, Deputy Director of the White House Office of Legislative Affairs
Dodin is the Floor Director and Deputy Chief of Staff for Democratic Whip Sen. Durbin (D-IL). Dodin previously served as Senator Durbin’s Floor Counsel, Research Director, and as an aide to his Judiciary Subcommittee on Human Rights and the Law. Dodin has volunteered for several campaigns including for Joe Donnelly, Joe Sestak, and Obama for America.
Shuwanza Goff, Deputy Director of the White House Office of Legislative Affairs
Goff is the Director of Legislative Operations and Floor Director for House Majority Leader Hoyer (D-MD). Goff is the first African American woman to serve as floor director. She previously served as Hoyer’s Deputy Director of Legislative Operations, starting on the Hill as Hoyer’s Staff Assistant.
