Washington, D.C. (October 29, 2019) - The BGR Group is pleased to announce that Remy Brim, Ph.D., has been selected as Co-Lead of BGR’s Health and Life Science Practice along with Brent Del Monte. She is the first female practice head at BGR.
In her new role, Dr. Brim will assist in setting the direction and ensuring the performance of BGR’s FDA & Public Health Policy Working Group and Access & Reimbursement Working Group. Regarding her role, she stated: “I’m pleased to expand my role within BGR’s elite, bipartisan health care team and continue supporting our clients’ efforts to discover, develop, and deliver innovative products for patients and consumers.”

Before joining BGR, Dr. Brim served as Senior FDA Policy Advisor to Senate HELP Committee Ranking Member Patty Murray (D-Wash.). In this role, she was lead negotiator and advisor for U.S. Senate Democrats on FDA medical device, prescription drug, biologic, food safety and cosmetic policy initiatives. She was previously Senior Health Policy Advisor to Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.), managing a comprehensive health care portfolio. She received her Ph.D. in Pharmacology from the University of Michigan Medical School and completed a post-doctoral fellowship in clinical bioethics at the National Institutes of Health.
