Ellen Palmer joined BGR Group in 2018 where she supports the firm’s State & Local team. Prior to joining BGR, Ellen worked for Virginia Delegate Thomas A. “Tag” Greason as a Legislative Aide and as Director of Campaign Operations. In that capacity, she not only managed communications with stakeholders from the private and public sectors but also coordinated all campaign field activities with statewide partner campaigns to promote Delegate Greason as well as the agenda of the Virginia Republican Party.
Ellen began her work with Delegate Greason after having spent time supporting a major auto plastics supplier and manufacturer in their efforts to recruit top talent and streamline administrative processes. She also worked in the political direct mail space where she engaged customers and negotiated contracts for political fundraising lists. Ellen has written and edited dozens of political newsletters sent to millions of registered voters across the country.
Ellen received her B.A. in Political Science from James Madison University where she also pursued minors in Economics and Geographic Science.
