Former Senior Advisor to Sen. Jeff Sessions strengthens firm’s national securityand international offering
Washington, D.C. – April 3, 2017: BGR Government Affairs announced today that retired Army Colonel Pete Landrum, who spent the last ten years as a Senior Advisor to former Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL), joined the firm as Vice President. Pete will strengthen the firm’s International and Defense practice, focusing on its homeland security, shipbuilding and aerospace clients.
Prior to joining BGR, Pete served as Senior Advisor to former U.S. Senator Jeff B. Sessions (R-AL), a senior member of the Senate Armed Services, Judiciary, and Budget Committees. In this position, Pete worked closely with the Department of Defense and State Department. Pete first met former Senator Jeff Sessions when he served as a member of the Alabama National Guard,
Pete served in the Army for 31 years, twenty-four of which were on active duty. He once served as Chief of Staff, Joint Task Force-Civil Support for US Northern Command, where he worked closely with FEMA, the Department of Homeland Security, and State Emergency Managers across the country.
